Our mission
We strive to improve immune health and quality of life for people affected by immune-mediated inflammatory diseases (IMIDs). Through innovative research across and within diseases, we aim to uncover both shared and disease-specific immune pathways to drive smarter diagnostics, treatments, and long-term solutions.
Our strategy
Chronic IMIDs affect over a million people in the Netherlands and cost society billions—yet most treatments fail to restore true immune balance. That’s why ImmuneHealthXL takes a different approach.
We’re driving a culture shift: from tackling diseases in isolation to recognizing IMIDs as part of a connected spectrum—with shared roots in immune imbalance, and both overlapping and disease-specific pathways. This shift requires scientists, clinicians, companies, funders, and patient organizations to work together across boundaries and rethink how research, development, and care are delivered.
By focusing on what links these diseases, we can develop smarter diagnostics and therapies that translate more efficiently across conditions and reach patients faster.
